Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is set to become the next European arrival in Saudi Arabia's Pro League, according to reports.
The Serbia international was previously targeted by a number of top-flight clubs when it became clear that he had no interest in extending his deal in the Italian capital.
Mail Sport reported in January that the player - who has spent the last eight years at Lazio - told the club he would be seeking a move away from the sky-blue side of Rome and, as his contract is set to expire in June 2024, Lazio will look to secure a competitive fee in exchange for losing a bedrock of their midfield.
The 28-year-old has made 341 appearances for the club during his tenure, score 69 goals and registering a further 59 assists.
But although once the focus of interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, Milinkovic-Savic now looks likely to be tempted to Saudi Arabia.
As per La Repubblica, Milinkovic-Savic is believed to be in favour of an offer tabled by Al-Hilal, who have made a number of key moves during the summer window.
The club - who were brutally rebuffed by Lionel Messi when the World Cup winner rejected their big-money offer in favour of signing for Inter Miami - have completed deals for Premier League stars Kalidou Koulibaly and Ruben Neves.
The £47million Al-Hilal paid Wolves for their captain Neves was a club-record transfer fee for a player, and called time on the Portugal star's six seasons at Molineux.
Al-Hilal are thought to have offered Lazio a similarly bumper deal, which would see the side pay £34m (€40m) to prise the midfielder away from the Serie A outfit.
