Following an exit from Cape Town City in the most recent transfer window, Juan Camilo Zapata has been in scintillating form since returning to South America.
On 1 January 2024, the Western Cape based side parted ways with the striker who scored one goal in 23 appearances.
Despite joining Cape Town City on a four year deal, Zapata rejoined CD Hermanos Colmenarez in Venezuela.
The Citizens decided to sign the player following a good campaign that saw him net 19 goals in 35 appearances.

Since returning to Hermanos, the 29-year-old has picked up where he left off with seven goals and 3 assists in 11 matches.
This has led to the player sitting second in the Liga FUTVE goalscoring charts with Tomas Rodríguez first with 8 strikes.
Interestingly, Zapata recently made the league's Team Of The Week alongside former Maritzburg United star Jose Ali Meza

With the season only 11 games in, Zapata will be hoping to lead his side to the league title as they currently sit in 2nd place, 1 point behind Universidad Central.
