Following Harvey Elliott’s assist and emphatic outside-of-the-box finish against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, the Liverpool youngster continues to receive plaudits.

“Elliott has had an excellent season and proved he has a future at Anfield. Not bad for a kid who was turned down at Chelsea because he was too small. I’m amazed football clubs in England still think in those terms”.
At the age of just 21, Elliott has already made 162 professional appearances across the Championship and Premier League, scoring 17 times, and having 24 assists.
When speaking to BBC MOTD, Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for the young midfielder, indicating that he may not have played him enough and declaring what he wants to see Elliott doing next season.
“Did Harvey Elliott play enough this season? I’m not sure. That’s up to me, it’s a little bit of moments like this and he was outstanding, outstanding and he has to be as dominant as he was today. Fantastic player, what a goal. I love it. All good. I will
