Former England international and pundit Gary Lineker has warned Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta about his language used in his furious rant about VAR following his side's 1-0 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday night.

Toon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes was also lucky to not see red after his elbow into the back of Jorginho's head went unnoticed by officials, before he purposefully kicked a free-kick at Havertz, leading to yet another fracas before the break.

Despite three separate VAR checks over a four minute stoppage, the goal was eventually awarded, sending Arteta over the edge in his press conference after the defeat.
The Spaniard was furious with the decisions from both VAR and the on-field officials, saying: «I feel embarrassed but I have to be the one now coming here to try to defend the club and please ask for help, because it's an absolute disgrace
