In Red Dead Redemption 2, Gold Bars may be one of the most expensive treasures, but finding them is equally hard. These bricks are scattered across the game's vast world and are only hinted at with extremely cryptic treasure maps and quests.
This guide will give you all the details required for finding and selling Gold Bars in Red Dead Redemption 2.
This treasure hunt can be very tricky. To start off the Poisonous Trail, find the map of the trail in the Cairn Lake Lodge, tucked under the bed inside a lockbox. Once you get the map, follow the trail of the delirious explorer Francis Sinclair, and you'll uncover a whopping four gold bars buried inside a hidden cave behind a waterfall.
Remember that eerie ghost town of Limpany? Well, it turns out there's more to this place than just a spooky atmosphere. A gold bar is hidden in this place. Run around the town until you locate the Sheriff’s Office. The Gold Bar is lying inside the bottom drawer of the small desk inside the Sheriff’s Office.
First, head north from Annesburg and a small cottage named the Reed Cottage. Here, you can find the sketched map inside the chimney. The location from the map can be found just under the second “R” of the Kamassa River on the map. Once in the area look around the cliffs to find the tree with the “X” mark.
Braithwaite Manor is one of the most grim locations in the game. Initially, it was a slave plantation of the Braithwaite Manor, but due to the abolition of slavery after the American Civil War, the manor was desolated. However, you can still find some left-out riches here.
Head toward the Northwest end of the manor until you spot the burned house. In the northeast corner of the house, you can find the gold bar, alongside some burned corpses.
