It’s a basic building, and you shouldn’t have too much trouble constructing one; just do so near the woods. Building a Woodcutter’s Lodge only costs 1 timber, so it is a simple matter of constructing one of these.
You should already have a Logging Camp to produce timber, so whenever you’re ready to start securing fuel in Manor Lords, build the Woodcutter’s Lodge. However, it won’t produce any fuel until you have someone working there. At first, you'll want to move this building around, when the tree line thins out. Later, you'll want a Forester's Hut, so people will plant more trees, ensuring infinite fuel.
Make sure you assign a family the task of running this building. If you have a market stall as well, your villagers can purchase the fuel to keep their homes warm. Each house in Manor Lords uses 1 fuel a month, but that doubles in the winter months. The more areas you claim, the more Woodcutter’s Lodges you’ll need, and the more fuel you’ll also require.
