Ten-man Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy entered halftime 1-1 in their DStv Premiership clash at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.
Njabulo Ngcobo, Dillon Solomons, Edmilson Dove, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Mduduzi Shabalala and Ranga Chivaviro came back in the fold for the Soweto giants.
Chivaviro had a chance to announce in his return in style minutes in as he managed to get a head in from a delivery, but Fiacre Ntwari’s outstretched save smothered him.
The Rockets launched a reply moments apart where Sphiwe Mahlangu stepped in the box to get a shot away from close-range following a loose clearance, but Bruce Bvuma drew a save.
Chivaviro got another opportunity and made it count this time when he robbed possession in a decent position and comfortably dispatched beyond Ntwari.
Galaxy were shown a lifeline on the half-hour mark and won a spot-kick after Dove handled in the area- leaving Mahlangu to do the honours and levelled matters.
Ntwari made himself big minutes thereafter where he stepped a few yards from his area to guide Ngcobo’s ferocious shot behind for a corner-kick.
Chiefs were down to ten-men on the stroke of halftime as Dove received a second yellow card for a rash challenge in an advanced position.
