I was really pleased with Liverpool's convincing 3-0 victory over Brentford at Anfield on Sunday. Reflecting on the game, there were so many positives. I thought Virgil van Dijk had his best game of the season and now looks back to his best after a difficult season last campaign.
As well as that, the strikers scored all of the goals, with Mohamed Salah's brace taking his tally in English football to the 200-goal mark. When was the last time we had a defender or midfielder score a goal?
It's amazing, with the likes of Diogo Jota, Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and even young Ben Doak they keep delivering the goals. And as long as they keep finding the back of the net, we'll continue to win games in the Premier League.
