Bray Wanderers have confirmed that Ian Ryan has stepped down from his role as Head Coach with immediate effect.
Ryan took over as Bray boss in November 2022 after an impressive spell with Wexford in which he took the club from the bottom of the First Division up to mid-table.
The 36-year old led Wanderers to a sixth place finish in his first season in charge, just missing out on a play-off spot.
They are currently sixth in the table but in a short statement released on Wednesday afternoon, they announced Ryan had decided to step down.
"Bray Wanderers FC announce that Ian Ryan has decided to resign as Head Coach with immediate effect.
"The club have accepted his resignation and wish Ian the best for the future. There will be no further comment from the club at this time."
