Inter seal agreement with Bayern Munich for Benjamin Pavard
Inter now have an agreement in place with Bayern Munich for French defender Benjamin Pavard.
The Nerazzurri had been speaking to Bayern for some days about Pavard now but an agreement wasn’t reached despite the player being keen on the move.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs, with Inter expected to pay an initial fee of €30 million and bonuses of €2 million for the Frenchman, who had been pushing for the move after it was initially reported that Thomas Tuchel wasn’t interested in the sale.
The move is now set to go through, with Pavard set to arrive in Milan between Tuesday and Wednesday to initially undergo a medical and then sign a deal. He is currently waiting in Bavaria to see Bayern sign a replacement for himself, before the move finally goes through. Personal terms are not expected to be a problem, with the player previously keen on the move.
