James Tarkowski has called on his Everton side to use the disappointment of their Carabao Cup exit as motivation against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.

“We had the chance in the League Cup and missed out on that on penalties,” Tarkowski said. “We are ready to go again in the cup. We are looking forward to it.
“I thought we played pretty well down there, created a few chances, and obviously got the red card that went against us (Dominic Calvert-Lewin's, which was overturned on appeal). Hopefully, on Wednesday night, we get a big win and move to the next round."
Everton come into the game on the back of a 0-0 draw with Aston Villa last time out. While a good result, the Blues are without a win since their 2-0 victory over Burnley on December 16.
