Jude Bellingham made headlines earlier this week after controversially ‘trash-talking’ England captain Harry Kane prior to his Three Lions team-mate taking a penalty in the Champions League semi-finals.
Such antics failed to put off the striker as he fired Bayern Munich into a 2-1 lead from 12 yards just before the hour-mark. However, Bellingham’s Real Madrid would fight back to earn a 2-2 draw with Vinicius Junior converting a late spot-kick of his own.
Speaking after the game, Kane would admit he hadn’t heard what Bellingham was saying at the time as he played down the incident.

"I don't know what he was saying,” he told TNT Sports. “I saw him mumbling something.
"Once I'm in that moment, I'm in my zone, trying to block everyone out. I'm sure he was saying something to try to put me off."
Later in the mixed zone, Kane added: "In the moment, I didn't know what he said but I spoke to him after and he said: 'I know you're going to go left of the keeper'.
"But it was nice for me because I saw the keeper go a little bit early and I put it away. Actually, on the pitch, I didn't know what he said. I knew he was there but I didn't know what he said. But I went left anyway."
With the pair being England team-mates and two of the Three Lions’ star players, and with Euro 2024 just around the corner, Bellingham’s use of the dark arts has inevitably made a plethora of headlines with numerous pundits having their own say on the controversy.
