An independent music shop will be opening its biggest UK store in Liverpool this year.
Rough Trade, which opened it's first store in London in 1976, sells a wide range of vinyl records, including limited and rare editions, as well as music books and merchandise, and even host gigs in its shops. Now, the retailer is opening its biggest UK store to date following the rebirth of vinyl record.
Music fans in Liverpool will be able to browse its extensive catalogue of music and merchandise in-store and enjoy a vibrant event schedule showcasing national and local acts, with a bar and café inside the shop too.

Scheduled to open in the first few months of this year, the 6500 square foot store on Hanover Street in Liverpool city centre will become the largest Rough Trade venue and boast its largest venue space. In partnership with Signature Brew and Dark Arts, the new store will also feature a fully stocked bar and café serving draught beers and fresh coffee.
The new store will be Rough Trade’s sixth, joining its three London stores and its shops in Bristol, and Nottingham. It will also be expanding into Europe in 2024, with plans to open a flagship store in Berlin.
