Jude Bellingham demonstrated his true class once again as he played a key role in Marcus Rashford's goal against Italy.
England broke from the edge of their own box in the Euro 2024 qualifier and unleased an excellent counter-attack to go 2-1 up.
Bellingham picked up the ball from Phil Foden's pass and flicked it over the head of Giorgio Scalvini before driving forward.
His pass to the left found Rashford who proceeded to cut inside and fire into the bottom-right corner to give England the lead.
It was a goal that showcased the quality that Gareth Southgate has at his disposal and talkSPORT's commentators lauded Bellingham for his role.
Former Three Lions captain Stuart Pearce said: «We talked about England's cutting edge.
»From their own box and Bellingham's challenge we broke, Bellingham flicked it over the central defender's head and off he went.
«I thought the ball was a bit slow behind Rashford but he picks it up, he cut inside an unloaded an unstoppable shot into the corner. Fantastic cutting-edge attacking play by England, by Rashford, by Bellingham. When we up the tempo, we are a massive threat.»
Jim Proudfoot added: «Bellingham's contribution cannot be overstated.»
Bellingham now has five assists to his name for club and country this season, with his previous for England coming in the 3-1 win against Scotland.
He starred in his 27th appearance for the Three Lions, who initially fell behind against Italy through Gianluca Scamacca's goal.
Harry Kane levelled the scoring with a penalty after Bellingham was fouled inside the area, with Rashford scoring his goal before the captain's second of the night.
