Mikel Arteta faces an important week on the training pitches to get his Arsenal team ready for a huge Premier League clash against Manchester United. The Gunners are still top of the table following the latest set of results, however the title advantage remains with Manchester City because of their game in hand.
Both Pep Guardiola and Arteta have been dealt a dream scenario this weekend with each of them having no major injury concerns. Jurrien Timber was not included in the matchday squad to face Bournemouth this past weekend despite Arteta admitting everyone was available, with it possible he returns this Sunday against Manchester United.
Bukayo Saka dealt the Arsenal boss a slight concern in the first 15 minutes of the victory over the Cherries after he was on the end of two heavy challenges which left a noticeable impact. With all of that being said, football.london has rounded up all the latest Arsenal injury news
After just 15 minutes, Saka was on the end of a brutal set of challenges from Bournemouth duo Lewis Cook and Ryan Christie. The Gunners forward received some treatment with it clear he was fuming a card had not been awarded as he showed the cut on his leg to officials.
However, he carried on and scored in the game before being substituted in 86th minute.
What Arteta has said: «The one on Bukayo, is it on purpose or not? I don't know so difficult for me to judge.»
Potential return date: Manchester United (A) – May 12.
