On Sunday, April 7 we published a story, headlined Woman sobs at Knowsley Safari Park gates after she's refused entry.
The story reported claims a person with a disability and their essential companion had been refused entry to Knowsley Safari.
We are happy to clarify that the guests were not refused entry to Knowsley Safari, the guests were not asked to prove any disabilities and the essential companion was offered the chance to pay for their entry and to have this refunded when a Nimbus Access Card was later presented to Knowsley Safari.
We are happy to clarify this, and have removed the article in question.
