Kylian Mbappe saw the funny side of NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo's social media post in which he joked about taking the Saudi millions instead.
Reports that Al-Hilal tabled an eye-watering £260million deal for the France star was the talk of the day, with it said Paris Saint-Germain granted the player permission to talk to the Saudi Pro League side.
It is thought Mbappe could earn £605m for just one season's work if he accepts the offer, which there is no indication he would.
The current highest-earner in the league is Cristiano Ronaldo who pockets £62m-a-year with Al-Nassr — an astronomical amount that would be dwarfed by Mbappe's deal should a move to Saudi Arabia come off.
Taking to Twitter, Milwaukee Bucks star Antetokounmpo joked: «Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe,» with two laughing emojis.
The NBA star's post led Mbappe to retweet with with no less than 13 laughing emojis of his own.
Meanwhile, other basketball stars also made light of the crazy money on offer for just one year's work.
Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green wrote: «They got basketball leagues too right? I don’t the ink on my contract has dried up yet.»
Damian Lilliard of the Portland Trail Blazers added: «One year, 776mm? Wtf lol.»
The best player around LeBron James posted a GIF of Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump running, joking that he's on his way.
