Paris Saint-Germain became Ligue 1 champions for the 10th time in 12 seasons on April 28, 2024, after Monaco's defeat to Lyon meant they could no longer catch the leaders in the title race.
It means Kylian Mbappe has now won seven top-flight titles in France — six for PSG and one for Monaco — by the age of 25. And there could be more to come before the start of next season.
Despite speculation over his long-term future in Paris, Mbappe remains the key player for club and country. With a Coupe de France final and a UEFA Champions League semifinal to come, he could help to deliver a famous season — one that is expected to be his last in the French capital.
Mbappe's role as France captain has placed him at the centre of Didier Deschamps' plans for Euro 2024 as his upward trajectory continues with the national team after winning the 2018 World Cup, and losing out in the 2022 final.
