Jurgen Klopp had to go back and find his wedding ring after getting lost in the chaos at Anfield on Monday night.
It was a New Year's Day to remember for Liverpool after emerging as 4-2 victors over Newcastle to go three points clear at the top of the Premier League.
In what was an action-packed 90 minutes in Merseyside, Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah scored twice before jetting off to the Africa Cup of Nations.
After the final whistle, Klopp made his customary trip to the Kop End to celebrate together.
But en route, he appeared to drop his wedding ring before noticing the absentee jewellery on his finger.
Sky Sports cameras followed the Reds boss as he turned back around, roaming around the pitch before eventually spotting the ring with the help of a cameraman.
And fans could not help but crack the same joke as Jurgen avoided an ear-bashing from Mrs Klopp.
One fan wrote: «Klopp losing his wedding ring on the pitch. Imagine explaining that to the wife.»
Another posted: «Big up the cameraman……cause Klopp wife would a kill him.»
And a third said: «Klopp caught life. His wife would’ve been fuming.»
Speaking to beIN Sports after the match about the ring, Klopp said: «It is here again! I'm not into jewellery, but this is the one ring I cannot live without.
»And the cameraman who found it is my hero. You are my New Year hero for 2024. From now on, if he wants to have my full face, he can have it."
After a whirlwind match, it was impossible not to lose yourself in the chaos — let alone a piece of precious metal.
Having missed a penalty in the first-half, Salah made amends after the break to open the scoring.
But Alexander Isak struck back with Newcastle's first shot on target moments later.
