Liverpool have a better finisher than Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp must use him
Michael Owen has claimed that Liverpool have a better finisher in their squad than Mohamed Salah despite the forward being the Reds' top-scorer.
Salah has scored 23 times for Jurgen Klopp's side this season - five more than the Darwin Nunez, second in Liverpool's goalsoring charts. However, after recovering from a muscular problem in February, the Egypt international has scored just twice in five Premier League games.
His minor dip in form has coincided with Liverpool's miserable past week. As well as dropping points against Man United, Jurgen Klopp's men were thrashed 3-0 at home by Atalanta in the Europa League and defeated by Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Salah is one of five talented forwards at Klopp's disposal. Cody Gakpo, Nunez, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota have all had their fair share of spells in the Liverpool team this season alongside Salah - scoring 60 goals between them.
However, despite the abundance of quality in the final third, the goals have dried up for Liverpool. Failure to score in their last two games was the first time that had happened since March last year.
And speaking on Premier League Productions, Owen has claimed that Jota is the best finisher in the squad, not Salah. "There's a lack of confidence in front of goal at the minute and it's showing," he said.
"Again in this situation it's Jota who I think is probably the best finisher in this Liverpool team, you can either side there or there, but you can't play safe, you have to find the corners. Be cool, be calm."
