Paris Saint-Germain manager Luís Enrique has revealed his preference for the Premier League title this season. The Spaniard is backing one of his compatriots to win his first league title.
During the 2022 Qatar World Cup, former Spain Luís Enrique was praised for his transparency during a series of Twitch streams, where he answered questions posed by viewers. On Thursday, he did his first Twitch stream since becoming PSG manager and opened up on a wide range of topics.
He was notably asked who he believed would win the Premier League title. The Spaniard responded: “I would like it if Mikel Arteta won it with Arsenal. Otherwise, I’d like it to be Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), who has already won a lot, and if not that, then it’s Aston Villa’s Unai Emery. City are the favourites in my opinion.”
Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League, level on points with Liverpool, but Manchester City are just one point behind. Aston Villa are then a further seven points back in fourth and have also played one game more than the other contenders for the title.
