According to 'The Athletic', Andriy Lunin could renew his contract with Real Madrid for three more seasons, i.e. until 2028. Both parties are in final negotiations on the new deal as his current contract expires in 2025.
The Ukrainian will receive a significant pay rise as a reward for the superb campaign he is having as he replaces Thibaut Courtois, who has missed the entire season with injuries.
Lunin has played 29 competitive matches for the Spanish giants this season, conceding 27 goals and keeping a clean sheet 12 times (10 in La Liga and two in the Champions League).
