Lunin signs with agent Mendes, who also represents Madrid's target Yoro
Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has signed for Polaris Sport, according to Fabrizio Romano. This is the player representation agency run by Jorge Mendes. The deal comes just as Real Madrid are considering the goalkeeper's renewal.
Mendes will not only be involved in Lunin's contract extension negotiations. Leny Yoro, a centre-back who is a target for Real Madrid, is also represented by the Portuguese.
The relationship between the club and Cristiano Ronaldo's former agent has not been the best since the Portuguese's departure to Juventus. The club and agent will have to put aside their differences to face two operations that have not yet been resolved.
Lunin has proven he can be a starter in the 'Merengue' team and, with the return of Courtois next season, the offer will have to be more than rewarding for the Ukrainian. On the other hand, Yoro is wanted by other European giants such as PSG and his price is not low.
