Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Frank Makua says Orlando Pirates has what it takes to stop Mamelodi Sundowns' dominance in the local game.
Despite having better ball possession at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday, Amakhosi continued to put at risk their chances of finishing in the top eight by losing to Richards Bay FC 1-0.
This was Chiefs' third successive defeat in the league, leaving the side 10th on the DStv Premiership table.

With Chiefs struggling, Makua says if there is any team that can end Sundowns dominance in the league it should be the Pirates.
"As a former Chiefs player what is happening at Orlando Pirates right now does not make me jealous," Makua tells KickOff.
"As long as they end Sundowns' dominance I will be happy, Sundowns is giving us all a tough time.
"Right now our league is boring because of Sundowns's dominance, but at least now that Pirates are rejuvenated our league will have that little competition.
"Pirates are our big enemies but the way things are right now, someone must stop Sundowns.
"I think the way Pirates are rotating their squad is what keeps all their players motivated. That way everyone gets game time.
"Pound-to-pound Pirates have better players than Chiefs, most players at Chiefs right now don't deserve to be there.
"The Chiefs squad don't have enough talent, a Chiefs player should be someone who is not scared to take the responsibility.
"We need players who can rise to the occasion and save the team from its misery. Currently, we don't have anyone like that.
"Most of the players that are there right now are just happy to be part of Kaizer Chiefs but they are not adding any value.
