The South African socialite maintained that she had never been found guilty of fraud, stating: "All I can tell you is that my record is clean and I have never been charged in my personal capacity for fraud."
While Carte Blanche maintained that she was convicted in 2005, Mkhize hit back by saying that it was her company that had been found guilty.
Who was convicted of fraud in 2005? Shauwn Mkhize says it was her company. But internal police records - leaked to Carte Blanche by several sources - tell a different story. #CarteBlanche @govanwhittles pic.twitter.com/JrYnZNn05A
With all the accusations that have been levelled at her and the intense one-on-one session being released on various platforms for the entire country to consume, the football club owner is still managing to keep her head up high.
She took to social media to send a message of inspiration to her followers, and perhaps as a reminder to herself, after the stressful start to this week.
"This week no weapon formed against me, you, your family, my family. Our heart, our health, mind and souls shall prosper. God got us," she wrote on an Instagram story.
