Alejandro Garnacho scuffed the penalty spot Andre Onana's heroic save in the final seconds of Manchester United's win over FC Copenhagen.
The Red Devils conceded a spot kick in the dying minutes of the Champions League clash as they closed in on a much-needed victory to lift them off the bottom of their Champions League group.
Harry Maguire had found the net to put Man United in the driving seat, but Scott McTominay later raised a high-footed challenge on Mohamed Elyounoussi in the box, leading to the visitors being given a stoppage-time penalty following a VAR review.
But Erik ten Hag's side breathed a huge sigh of relief as Andre Onana got down to bat the penalty by Jordan Larsson, son of ex-Man United loanee Henrik Larsson, away to save all three points.
However, whilst Old Trafford erupted in celebration at their goalkeeper's heroics, other fans had spotted something else they loved in the build up.
As the visitor's prepared to take the spot kick, Garnacho, who was stood away from the rest of the players having a discussion with the referee, kicked at the ground on the penalty spot.
The 19-year-old appeared to scuff the area multiple times before walking away as the referee pointed to the spot.
«GARNACHO WHERE DO YOU WANT YOUR STATUE?» one fan wrote alongside a video of the moment posted on X, formally known as Twitter.
«GARNACHO I LOVE YOU,» another said.
«I can't lie I love this,» a third added.
