Manchester United players have taken to social media to welcome Mason Mount after the England international completed a £60million move from Chelsea on Wednesday.
The midfielder officially became a United player on Wednesday after signing a five-year deal earning him around £250,000-a-week at his new club.
He had been identified as Erik ten Hag's No 1 priority this summer, but his switch became something of a prolonged transfer tug-of-war between the two Premier League rivals, with the Blues knocking back several bids.
However, after completing a medical at United's Carrington training facility earlier in the week, his move was finalised on Wednesday, much to the joy of some of his new team-mates.
Club captain - and international team-mate Harry Maguire - was one of the first to welcome the 24-year-old to Old Trafford.
'Welcome mate,' the United skipper posted on his Instagram account, before reposting an image of Mount in the club's kit with heart-eyes emoji.
And the player that has often stood-in for the out-of-favour defender, Bruno Fernandes, was also quick to send a message to his new midfield partner.
'Why did you take so long to sign?' the Portuguese star joked over a background of the two facing off on the pitch, before adding: 'Welcome Mason Mount'
Portuguese defender Diogo Dalot also reposted United's official photos of Mount in his new kit, writing: 'Welcome to the family'
The player has been handed the club's iconic No 7 shirt as he prepares to begin a new chapter in his playing career.
It was not just current United players who were glad to see the 24-year-old complete the move, either.
