Man Utd flop Van de Beek offers himself to Barcelona
Donny Van de Beek has again been linked with a possible exit from Manchester United, after his move from Ajax to the Red Devils was a failure, failing to rise to prominence in England.
The Dutch midfielder has made just 23 starts in three seasons at the Mancunian club and it is no secret that he wants to leave the club. Given this situation, Barcelona could be interested in reaching an agreement on a short-term basis for the transfer of the player.
The 'Cules' were dealt a blow after Gavi injured his ACL during the last international break, so the signing of Van de Beek could fill the gap left by the Spanish midfielder at least for the second part of the season.
In addition, Erik ten Hag has already made it clear in a press conference that he is open to letting the Dutchman go. "I can see he has to play for his career and for everything," he said.
From the player's side, it is more than clear that his desire would clearly be to leave the club in search of playing time, as he told 'The Mirror': "I need to start playing games very soon - if not at Man United then at another club. I think I have to be ambitious."
