According to Fabrice Hawkins, Manchester United have enquired about Galatasaray right back Sacha Boey (23) over a potential transfer. This comes at the same time that the Frenchman’s talks over a new contract extension with the Turkish champions have stalled.
Galatasaray want Boey to sign a new one-year deal with the club but things are stuck between the two parties as things stand. The former Rennes right-back has now emerged as an option for the Manchester club as they look to bolster their current options of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot at right back. It is unknown whether the former France U21 international would be interested in a move to Old Trafford.
Burnley attempted to sign the French defender in the summer transfer but were unsuccessful in their attempts. The 23-year-old has become a key player for Galatasaray since he moved from Rennes for €1.1m. Boey has made 20 appearances for Galatasaray in all competitions this season.
