United beat Leeds 2-0 in their opening friendly on Wednesday, with Mason Mount making his first appearance in a Red Devils shirt.

This friendly will be played on Wednesday, July 19.

Academy prospects Noam Emeran and Joe Hugill both scored in a 2-0 win as plenty of players from all levels of the club got some minutes in their legs.
First-team stars Jadon Sancho, Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Aaron Wan-Bissaka all started the game before being replaced.
Speaking after his first appearance in a Man United shirt, Mount said: We’ve been working very hard [in training], so it’s good to now put it into practice and play on the pitch now.
“That first week is mostly focused on getting the legs going again, getting the distance in the legs by running.
“But we’ve definitely been working on a few tactics as well, coming into this game.
