The wave of injuries has seemingly passed over Olympique de Marseille with the club returning to (almost) full strength ahead of their UEFA Europa League semi-final second-leg against Atalanta.
For weeks, Jean-Louis Gasset has had to contend with multiple absentees. His defence has been particularly decimated, with almost all members of his back-line missing some matches through injury, many of them at the same time. However, following injuries, players such as Chancel Mbemba, Jonathan Clauss, Samuel Gigot and Quentin Merlin are all back.
The latter, taken off on a stretcher in the Europa League quarter-final against Benfica, made his return against Atalanta, from the bench. However, he is expected to start on Thursday evening in Bergamo with Luis Henrique dropping to the bench.
