Mikel Arteta continues to be plagued by injury concerns in his Arsenal squad as they vie to win both the Premier League and Champions League. The Gunners picked up another victory this past weekend with Kai Havertz netting a late winner against Brentford at Emirates Stadium.
Manchester City and Liverpool each had the chance to respond to Arsenal's victory in their huge title clash at Anfield. John Stones put the visitors in front but his close-range strike was cancelled out by Alexis Mac Allister's penalty with the clash ending level.
As a result of that, Arsenal remained top of the table and they will stay there for the following three weeks before their next league clash against Man City. However, prior to that, Arsenal must do battle in the Champions League with Porto as the visitors.
The Portuguese outfit hold a one-goal lead heading into the second leg with Arteta hopeful his players can overturn that deficit. But, they may have to do so without both Gabriel Martinelli and Takehiro Tomiyasu due to injury. With that in mind, football.london has taken a look at the latest Arsenal injury news ahead of Porto.
Martinelli was not named in the squad to face Brentford. football.london spotted the Brazil international walking through the 'mixed zone' on crutches and thus he is a major doubt to face Porto in the Champions League.
