Joe Cole has implored Mauricio Pochettino and Todd Bohely to bring more experienced players into the Chelsea dressing room to help prop up the stability of the squad.
The average age of the current first-team is 23-and-a-half years, with the midfield on its own holding a median of just under 22-years-old. A lack of rounded experience has costChelsea multiple times this season, perhaps most vividly against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.

Speaking to football.london and other reporters courtesy of TNT Sports, Cole said: “I think they've caught between both — there's demand from the fans to be at the top of the table, the owners have spent enough money where they want to be at the top of the table.
“There needs to be a nurturing and lessons that need to be learned — we all did — as young footballers from when you learned lessons, go from A-B-C-D-E-F.
