Mikel Arteta has been handed a massive boost after the whole Arsenal squad trained ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg with Bayern Munich.
Jurrien Timber came out first ahead of the rest of the squad to do some warm up drills with strength and conditioning coach Sam Wilson. The Dutch international had been the only major injury doubt heading into the session as he continues to recover from an ACL injury sustained on the opening day of the Premier League season in August.
Timber was, however, able to take part in the opening part of training with the rest of the squad at the Sobha Realty Centre. The Gunners engaged in some warm up drills as sprits seemed high.
Bukayo Saka was also involved in training as he continues to manage a muscle problem. The England international started and opened the scoring in Saturday's 3-0 win over Brighton.
Perhaps unusually he was taken off around the hour mark. However, in his post-match press conference the Spaniard confirmed that this was not injury related by saying: «Yeah he's fine.»

Third choice and fourth choice goalkeepers Karl Hein and James Hillson were also involved in training. The pair came out slightly later than David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale however.
