But with Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus joining the injured Jurrien Timber on the unavailable list, Mikel Arteta could be restricted with regard to how many changes he can make to the side that started the win over the Blades as there could be some senior players who end up playing three games in seven days.
Now, if the team the Spaniard puts out against Brentford in round three is any indication for the West Ham game then there will be a change in goal. Aaron Ramsdale hasn't featured since keeping a clean sheet at the Gtech Community Stadium last month but should get an opportunity with David Raya likely to be rested.
