Next Arsenal transfer 'confirmed' as Edu completes deal for forgotten star

Even after the transfer window passed, it appeared as if trimming down the squad remained to be the Gunners' priority. According to Fabrizio Romano, Fluminense are preparing the formal documents to complete the signing of Marquinhos from Arsenal on loan.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday evening, the Brazilian outfit confirmed that the winger should be on his way. As quoted by ESPN Brasil, manager Fernando Diniz said: «Basically, the squad hasn’t changed much for the time being, there are a few more players.
»But when Alexsander, John Kennedy and Marquinhos is probably arriving, we’ll probably have one or two players leaving. Fluminense has signed very well in this window, I’m very happy with what we’ve signed at the start of the year."
