Nottingham Forest have joined the race to sign out-of-favour Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi after interest from Premier League rivals Fulham and Everton.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan out in Germany playing under Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen but found just two goal involvements in his 21 appearances across all competitions and, according to the Evening Standard, is 'desperate' for a move away.
Before an ankle injury in the latter half of the 2021/22 season derailed his role in the Blues squad, he'd enjoyed consistent minutes in both the Premier League and Champions League, having made 14 starts in the 28 matches he was involved in.
However, following three appearances on the bench to start the season under Thomas Tuchel last season, he was shipped off to the Bundesliga in order to make space in an already-large group of players.
The latter has been suggested by recent rumours that West London rivals Fulham are interested after selling their star striker Aleksandr Mitrovic to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabaia for £50 million.
But now Sean Dyche's Everton and Forest are the latest clubs in now what is considered a three-horse race for the England international's signature.
The reports come as Chelsea try to sign a player of their won from the Reds as Brennan Johnson has garnered interest following his breakout season in their previous campaign.
Only frontman Taiwo Awoniyi (11) had more goals for Steve Cooper's side last season, all of which came in the Premier League while Johnson managed to net twice in the Carabao Cup to bring his tally to double figures.
