Fulham have confirmed the signing of Raul Jimenez from Wolves in a deal that is reportedly set to cost £5.5million.
Mail Sport revealed on Sunday that the Mexican striker had been given permission to leave the club's pre-season training camp in Portugal and arrived in London today completed a medical with Marco Silva's side earlier today.
In a statement released on Tuesday night, the club confirmed that 32-year-old had agreed a deal that will keep him at the club until 2025, and have the option to extend that contract for a further 12 months.
He is set to be unveiled during their Premier League Summer Series match against Aston Villa at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando on Wednesday night.
Jimenez scored three goals in all competitions for Julen Lopetegui 's side last season, making only 15 Premier League appearances in a campaign plagued by injury.
'It's really important for me to arrive here,' Jiménez said to the club . 'I will try to do my best for the team, one of the most iconic teams in the Premier League.
'I'm happy to be here and to play in this stadium, it's a really good stadium, I like it here. I'm going to give my best to keep scoring goals in the Premier League.'
