Andre Onana has been handed a lifeline on his international career as he was recalled back to the Cameroonian national team, nine months after the infamous Qatar World Cupcontroversy.
Cameroon coach and the country’s legend Rigobert Song announced Onana was back in the squad for the nation’s upcoming qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations. The Indomitable Lionscome up against Burundi on September 12, knowing a draw will be enough to see them through to the finals.
Onana’s return to the national team will be a welcome sight for Cameroonians, as there is no denying his talent between the sticks.
