A Liverpool restaurant has been named the "best in the UK" at an awards ceremony.
The Twins Flavour, on Dale Street, has been awarded the best Latin American restaurant in the UK at the Latin American Awards by LA United. Twin sisters, Alejandra and Isabel Cadaud, attended the ceremony, held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London last week.
Speaking about their win, they said: "This award is for all of you. Our compromise is to continue working day after day to bring our Latin American flavour to you. As we always say, we feel blessed."

After struggling to find Latin places to eat, they decided to start their own business. At first, the sisters ran a pop-up catering business but as that gained popularity, they decided to look for their own venue.
Alejandra added: "My sister was working in The Old Bank as the head chef. We did Latin parties there and it was always full. We started looking for a place and wanted to try. One day, we were on Facebook and saw an advert for this place. We thought 'why not?'
"Everything was so smooth and two weeks later we had the key. We didn't even have time to think about it, but the dream had come true and we are here. The Twins Flavour claims to be Liverpool's first Colombian street food spot and they are very glad
