Orlando Bloom stayed in a Liverpool city centre hotel renowned for being one of the best in the country.
The Hollywood star, who was visiting the city to appear at the Comic Con convention at the ACC Liverpool, is believed to have stayed in the city's Hope Street Hotel. The ECHO understands Orlando popped into a wedding being held in the hotel to mingle with the bride and groom before heading up to his room.
Orlando was also spotted enjoying a night out, dining with co-stars Elijah Wood, Billy Boyd and Dom Monaghan in the Smithdown Road bistro Belzan on Friday. On Saturday, another Lord of the Rings actor, Sean Astin, arrived and the five stars were then pictured out inside New Capital, a Chinatown restaurant on Nelson Street.

This year the award-winning Hope Street Hotel celebrated 20 years in business. Welcoming its first guests back in 2004, it marked the beginning of a new era for hotels in Liverpool as the city centre’s first independent, privately-owned, boutique hotel.
Found on Hope Street in the Georgian Quarter, the business also earned a spot on Conde Nast Traveller's list of the top 50 new hotels worldwide before it even opened its doors. It has continued to win major awards and accolades for its design, offer and service, including a place in The Sunday Times' round-up of the 100 best places to stay in 2024.
Over the years, Hope Street Hotel has kept expanding, with two major extensions in 2009 and 2021. It now includes 149 bedrooms, two restaurants, a private 39-seat cinema, nine event spaces, and an award-winning spa.
