Manchester City have been told Jack Grealish is more suited to 'slowing the game down' than summer signing Jeremy Doku.
The Belgian, 21, provided an assist for City during the 2-1 win against Brighton on Saturday afternoon. He was chosen to start that match by Pep Guardiola - with Grealish on the substitutes bench - after some impressive performances during his early days with the treble-winners following a £55.5million transfer.
The ex-Stade Rennais star teed up Julian Alvarez for the opener on seven minutes. Norway striker Erling Haaland made it 2-0 to the Premier League champions and, for the most part, they were comfortable for that lead before Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati momentarily hit back for the Seagulls.

Doku sends message to City teammates after victory
Speaking about Doku in his in-match analysis for the City website, former striker Paul Dickov highlighted that Grealish is better at 'slowing the game down' than his teammate.
Dickov said: "He's settled in better than anyone would have expected. He's only a young boy and not used to this style.
"Usually when we sign players, they're already playing at the top level in whatever nation they're in. I'm pleasantly surprised how he's settled in, he looks a threat every time he gets the ball."
Dickov continued: "I joked at half-time that I felt sorry for James Milner. At times, there's still a little bit of naivety and what Pep will be putting into him is that he can't beat his man every time he gets it.
