PSG join Barcelona in race for Bernardo Silva
Manchester City's Bernardo Silva has decided to leave the Sky Blue next season, according to 'Catalunya Radio'. In his last renewal he made sure he had a clause to be able to leave. It is set at 50 million euros.
The Catalan radio station claims that his first option as a future destination is FC Barcelona. In fact, this is a rumour that has been going around for a few summers now. Joao Felix himself declared that he had "convinced" Silva to join the 'Cule' team. Also in favour of the Spaniards is the good relationship between the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, Deco and Laporta.
On the other hand, the journalist Oriol Domenech, told the programme 'Tot Costa' that PSG are also interested in signing the player and that they already tried to do so last summer. The Parisians' plan is to make a bid for him again in the next transfer window.
Barca need to make an important sale to be able to reach the 50 million to get the playmaker from Manchester. For their part, Luis Enrique's side must convince the Portuguese that Paris is a better place than Barcelona.
Bernardo Silva's future is still up in the air, but, according to this information, it seems that what is clear is that he will not continue under Guardiola's orders. PSG and Barca will repeat the Champions League duel, although this time in the offices.
