RMC Sport report this afternoon that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has not discarded a move to Paris Saint-Germain as an option this summer, despite agreeing on the terms of a contract with Bayern Munich.
The England international, who looks set to leave North London this summer, has emerged as the Ligue 1 champions’ priority, given they are looking to bring in a big-name centre-forward.
The Premier League side have set a €100m asking price for the striker, and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi was recently in London to discuss a potential deal with his Tottenham counterpart Daniel Levy, RMC add.
Talks have also taken place with the player’s entourage, although no agreement has been reached thus far. According to the French outlet, Kane has also used PSG’s interest to attempt to negotiate a move lucrative deal with Bayern – a move which has frustrated the Bundesliga champions, who were already reticent about paying the €100m fee in the first place. Al Khelaifi, meanwhile, is optimistic the chances of the transfer going through.
