Although they face stiff competition from Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain remain hopeful of bringing in Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, in what would be a transformative move for the Ligue 1 champions, who are in the process of rebuilding their frontline.
For the time being, the Bundesliga giants appear to be the England international’s favoured destination. However, according to Foot Mercato this Monday, PSG are still pushing behind the scenes to reach an agreement over personal terms with Kane.
Should they manage to win over the 29-year-old, the French side will then send through a proposal which the North London side will be unable to turn down, the outlet adds.
With Dušan Vlahović ostensibly another name on PSG’s shortlist of potential recruits, the club is looking to make a statement signing up front after the departure of Lionel Messi. Potential moves for both Kylian Mbappé and Hugo Ekitike this summer have meant that bringing in a forward could become even more of an urgency in the weeks to come.
