PSL stars look like million dollars at luxury club event

DStv Premiership stars looked like a million dollars as they were honoured at a luxurious club event. 

Cape Town City hosted their end-of-season award ceremony and the players with their plus-ones were all dressed fancily for the occasion.

The venue also seemed to be splendid, appropriate for the magnitude of the occasion. Everyone was in a cheerful mood as the event took place after the side's 3-1 victory over Richards Bay on Saturday.

Award winners: 

Chairmans Award: The award was shared between Neven Payne and Jorge Marugan.

"The award recognised the duo for their commitment and outstanding contribution to the club over the past few seasons."

The Citizen Award: Marc Van Heerden 

"This award celebrates a player who wholeheartedly serves the team and embodies the club’s values." 

Young Player of the Season: Jaedin Rhodes

"For the second year running, Jaedin’s significance for the team continues to grow, an exciting player to watch every time he sets foot on the field."

Players' Player of the Season: Keanu Cupido

"Keanu has consistently shown his importance to the club through rock solid performances and displaying leadership qualities." 

The 2023/24 Player of the Season: Club captain Thami Mkhize

"A stalwart of the club who exemplifies what a captain is, and how to be one for Cape Town City Football Club."
