Since departing Tottenham Hotspur in April 2021, Jose Mourinho has never been far from the public eye as his illustrious career continued.
The Portuguese head coach who has won most of the trophies there is to be won in domestic football, was only out of work three months before taking control at Serie A club AS Roma. Prior to managing competitively again, Mourinho was hired as a pundit by talkSPORT for the delayed Euro 2020 as he prepared for his return to the football hot seat.
Once back in management, Mourinho made history at Roma as he led the club to their first trophy in 14 years when they won the inaugural Europa Conference League. However, results in Serie A were less impressive with two sixth-placed finishes seen as a poor return on investments by the owners.
Eventually, the lack of forward momentum from Mourinho's Roma cost him dearly and he was sacked in January of this year. Not one to stay out of the limelight for long, the 61-year-old has been vocal about returning to management.
Saudi Arabia took this as a sign to pursue the former Premier League boss and the Portuguese has been in the Middle East a lot recently. He was surprisingly in attendance for Anthony Joshua's fight with Francis Ngannou and Mourinho was trackside for the Saudi Arabian F1 Grand Prix.
Reports over the weekend have also suggested that Mourinho is set for a return to the Middle East soon for talks with Al-Qadsiah but it seems his heart could be set on a Premier League return. Just over a fortnight ago, Mourinho was captured watching Liverpool's victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage which led to speculation that he wanted to replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
