Instead, Valverde opted to eat the raw octopus — likely anticipating that naming the worst Barcelona star would undoubtedly create a media storm.
His answer about Araujo comes as little surprise, given the close friendship he shares with the defender.
Valverde will now turn his focus towards Real Madrid’s inaugural home game of the new season. As per a report by Football Espana, he is expected to be in the starting line-up.
