Rebekah Vardy is all smiles as she supports husband Jamie's football win despite ex-boyfriend's jail time

WAG Rebekah Vardy has been spotted celebrating Leicester City's club promotion, in the wake of her ex boyfriend being sent to jail.

The wife of Leicester City player Jamie Vardy, has been seen waving to the open top bus of football players, while the bus parades through the city centre. Her husband's team secured the top spot in the Championship with an away win at Preston North End on Monday, meaning they were promoted into a higher league.

Rebekah waved to fans and the Leicester City players, as crowds gathered to watch the parade.

The mum-of-five was joined by her children and was all smiles during the celebration. It comes after her ex-boyfriend, a former footballer, who played for Rotherham United and Preston North End, was jailed last month after he was found guilty of growing the Class B drug at Nottingham Crown Court.

Luke Foster, 38, was found guilty alongside two other defendants and will now face a three year stretch behind bars for the crime. Rebekah and Luke previously dated for around six years between 2007 and 2013 and share one teenage son together, who was born in 2010.

Following the break-up, it was reported that Luke was ordered to pay Rebekah £225 per month for child support for their son.

They then started a long battle for maintenance payment after Rebekah insisted that she was owned money to look after her son, who at the time was eight years old. Documents claimed that the Child Support Agency had ordered Foster to pay the sum, despite the footballer previously having asked to be "cut some slack".
