Red Star head coach Habib Beye poised to replace Will Still at Reims
Reims have identified 777 Partners-owned Red Star head coach Habib Beye to replace the departing Will Still from next season onwards, according to a report this Monday by Ouest-France. The outlet understands that Beye has met Reims Sporting director Mathieu Lacour a couple of days ago. The Ligue 1 side are in need of a manager after confirming last week that Will Still would be relieved of his duties a year before his contract runs out. The Anglo-Belgian manager has already left his post, along with his younger brother, deputy coach Nicolas Still.
Beye, a former Newcastle United and Aston Villa right-back, has led Red Star to a Ligue 2 promotion and a Championnat National title win.
